Force 10 - In the works

Now that Fall In is behind, I am working more on the Force 10 campaign that I would like to start next year.  Some of the figures that I used in the Commando Raid game will make appearances in the Force 10 game also.

Miller (Edward Fox) - Explosives and "Whiz Bang" expert



A couple of British that may be used.  Since I am combining the book, movie, and a few other sources, it is tough knowing what I want to use for the game.

Pulp Alley Superhero Cards for Mayhem Convention Game

Here are some of the cards I created for the heroes that will be available.  Typically I try to use the rules to create the superpowers that the characters possess in the comics.  At times things are modified, it can be either up or down, to make things fit the source material.   I am not trying to totally rewrite the rules, or recreate every single power or ability.  If I did that, then the cards would be books.   The template is one one I created.  I have to upload that to the Pulp Alley Facebook Group.  I had an older version on there, but this one is more customized.  I am also using the standard cards for some characters too.  More to come!

Making Mayhem - The 2024 Edition: Mayhem Gaming Con ‘24 - Friday: The First Day

The question of whether or not a person should drive, by themselves, about six hours one way, for a game convention, is not really a subject that comes up in discussion too often.  Maybe it is something some people discuss more than others, but I would guess in the usual lives of most people, it never happens.   That being said, the last couple of years, that discussion arose in my mind, due to the origin of a new gaming convention in Lebanon, New Hampshire, called Mayhem.  Mayhem has been held in April, though thinking about it, May would better fit the name (Aprilhem anyone?).    When I heard about this convention last year, I decided to go, due to the fact that I had not been to an in person convention since Historicon 2019 in July of that year.  I had been prepared to attend Cold Wars 2020, the weekend of March 13th, but I did not know if the convention would cancel or not and did not want to get stuck with a hotel bill, and no reason to be in the hotel, so I canceled my game.  Col

Sergeants Miniatures Game - What is it??

Sergeants Miniatures Game (SMG) is a bit different than a lot of typical miniatures game in existence.  Sergeants is not just a set of rules, but a full system that allows you to buy a base, starter set, a few extra figures, and you can play the game.   I remember seeing at some of the conventions in Lancaster, Pennsylvania where people would walk out of the dealer hall with a new game, sit down at an empty table, open things up, and start playing the game.   SMG, and its sister game Sergeants D-Day, are manufactured by Lost Battalion Games  ( Lost Battalion Games Site ).  Both offer a similar experience of play.  SMG is available with both base sets for the American Airborne, Day of Days, and the British Airborne, Red Devils.  There are also several expansion sets available for both nationality paths.  Expansions include scenario packs, with scenario books, and new terrain maps, soldier packs, and even 3D terrain buildings, "hasty positions", and trenches.  The system uses t
